So I had signed up for a motorcycle safety course this weekend so that I wouldn't have to take the riding test. I signed up for the class two months ago, and this weekend was the earliest that was open. The class is at 8:15am. Sat morining I was having a crazy weird dream that made me realize that I was late for my class, so I woke up totally frantic. I check the clock and it's only 6 am! Whew. I figured I could sleep another hour. 20 minutes later I wake up, feeling refreshed. Check the clock and it's 8:15. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...... The location was 25 minutes away. They don't let you be late. They don't let you reschedule. They don't give refunds. I guess I gotta take the riding test now but it's supposed to be pretty hard
So, instead, I went riding w/ Mike, one of our coworkers, and one of his neighbors, and it was a BLAST. We took Santiago Canyon to Lake Forest, hopped on the 133 and took it down to Laguna Hills, then took PCH to Newport, then up behind UCI, then to The Counter for lunch. It was such a perfect ride! So sweet. Those are the kind of rides that make you want to keep on riding!
Finally got around to putting together a video of the glove I built so I posted it on youtube. If there's enough interest, I'll take the next steps and have it manufactured.
There's some weird stuff going on... Cyclone in Myanmar. Earthquake in China. A tornado hit Colorado today. Then today, out of no where, it's POURING about 3 miles from my work, and it's barely drizzling at work. Ends up, they issued tornado warnings in Riverside county today! And two of them actually touched down. Check it out: http://www.instantriverside.com/riverside-news/inland-empire-news/tornado-warning/2008/05/22/
